Wild Rice Almond Sauté

INGREDIENTS

48 oz. chicken broth
48 oz. dry white wine
1 1/2 lb. uncooked wild rice
6-8 oz. butter or margarine
1 lb. slivered almonds, toasted

INSTRUCTIONS

    In steam-jacketed kettle or large kettle, bring broth and wine to a boil; add wild rice. Cover, simmer for 30-65 minutes or until desired doneness. Drain if necessary.

    In large skillet, melt butter. Sauté wild rice for 3-4 minutes; stir in almonds.
