Mocha Parfait With Amaretto White Chocolate Sauce

INGREDIENTS

6 oz. white chocolate, chopped (not confectionery coating)
1/4 cup whipping cream
3 tbsp. butter
1/4 cup almond-flavored liqueur
1 qt. chocolate ice cream
1 qt. coffee ice cream
1/3 cup toasted slivered almonds
1/2 cup whipping cream, whipped
3 oz. coffee flavored Swiss milk chocolate, broken into pieces or 1/2 cup miniature semi-sweet chocolate pieces

INSTRUCTIONS

    Combine white chocolate, whipping cream and butter in microwave-safe bowl. Microwave on high for 1 1/2 minutes or until smooth when stirred. Stir in liqueur.

    In four large (14 to 16 oz.) parfait dishes, layer white chocolate sauce, chocolate ice cream, coffee ice cream and almonds, ending with ice cream topped with white chocolate sauce. Top with whipped cream. Garnish with chocolate pieces.
