Frozen Custard Caramel Butter Sundae

INGREDIENTS

3/4 cup butter
1/2 cup chopped pecans
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup whipping cream
6 small bananas, quartered
Frozen vanilla custard, as needed

INSTRUCTIONS

    Melt butter in 2 qt. saucepan over medium heat. Add pecans; sauté 3 minutes or until foamy and fragrant. Stir in brown sugar and whipping cream. Bring to boil; continue boiling 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat. Gently stir in bananas; let stand 5 minutes. Serve over vanilla frozen custard.
