Combine crumbs and 4 tbsp. (1/4 cup) sugar; add butter. Mix until butter is thoroughly combined with crumbs; press onto bottom of 9" springform pan.

Combine cream cheese and 1 2/3 cups sugar, mixing at medium speed on electric mixer until well-blended. Add eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Blend in juice; pour over crust. Bake at 350°F for 1 hour.

Combine sour cream, lemon peel and 1 tbsp. sugar; carefully spread over cheesecake. Bake 5 minutes. Loosen cake from rim of pan; cool before removing rim of pan. Chill.
