Cranberry Frost

INGREDIENTS

1 cup cranberries, finely chopped
1 apple, peeled, cored and finely chopped
1/2 cup sugar
11 oz. mandarin orange sections, canned, well-drained and coarsely chopped
1 cup sour cream
1 tsp. vanilla
1 cup whipping cream, whipped

INSTRUCTIONS

    Combine cranberries, apple and sugar; let stand 5 minutes or until sugar dissolves. Add orange sections, sour cream and vanilla; mix well. Fold in whipped cream. Pour into 8"x4" loaf pan; freeze until firm. Unmold; cut into slices. Allow to stand at room temperature 15 minutes before serving.
