Marinated Grilled Portabella Steak

INGREDIENTS

3 cups fresh lime juice
2 1/4 cups soy sauce
3/4 cup toasted sesame oil (Asian)
1 tbsp. crushed red pepper
24 Portabella mushrooms, stems reserved for other use (about 2 1/2 oz. each)
Toasted sesame seeds, for garnish, as needed

INSTRUCTIONS

    Whisk together lime juice, soy sauce, sesame oil and red pepper.
  2. 2
    Pour over Portabella mushroom caps; marinate for at least 2 hours, turning occasionally.
  3. 3
    Drain 1 Portabella cap; pat dry. Brush with vegetable oil. Grill, turning several times, until tender, about 2 minutes per side. Slice about 3/8" thick at an angle.

    Serve with sautéed vegetables, deep-fired onion rings or sweet potato French Fries.
  5. 5
    Garnish with toasted sesame seeds.
