Fresh, Heirloom Tomato & Goat Cheese Pizza

INGREDIENTS

3 oz. crimini mushrooms, sliced
3 oz. Shiitake mushrooms, stemmed and sliced
4 tbsp. olive oil, divided
5 oz. fresh goat cheese, crumbled
3 tbsp. fresh basil leaves, shredded and divided
1/4 tsp. freshly ground black pepper
12" pizza dough shell
5 oz. small tomatoes, such as cherry or yellow pear, sliced
2 tbsp. finely chopped red onion
salt, as needed

INSTRUCTIONS

    Toss mushrooms with 2 tbsp. oil; reserve.

    Mix cheese, 1 tbsp. oil, 2 tbsp. basil and pepper; spread over pizza shell. Layer reserved mushrooms, tomatoes and red onion over pizza. Lightly season with salt. Drizzle with remaining oil.

    Bake at 500ºF, until pizza is lightly browned and bubbly, about 8 minutes. Remove from oven; sprinkle with remaining basil for garnish
