INGREDIENTS

1 Cinnamon stick
6 Peppercorns
10 Cloves
750 ml bottle Red wine, divided
½ of orange Florida orange peel
¼ cup Sugar in the Raw
2 oz. Honey
4 oz. Florida orange juice, fresh, room temperature
½ oz. Cointreau (for COLD ONLY)
garnishes (Florida orange slice and Cinnamon stick)

INSTRUCTIONS

    Combine spices in cheesecloth bag and drop in saucepan with ¼ of wine.
  2. 2
    Add Florida orange peel and Sugar in the Raw.
  3. 3
    Simmer to blend flavors, about 5 minutes.
  4. 4
    Once heated, add remaining wine and honey and return to simmer for 3 minutes. Turn off heat.

    Add Florida orange juice.
  6. 6
    Remove spice bag and orange peel and serve.
  7. 7
    Garnish with Florida orange slice and cinnamon stick.

    To make COLD, chill mulled wine. To 1 wine glass, add ½ oz Cointreau and 6 oz chilled mulled wine over ice.
