Place Florida orange juice and mescal (or tequila) in saucepot and reduce volume by ⅔. Combine orange reduction, agave syrup, cumin, chili powder, chipotle pepper purée and olive oil. Divide into 2 equal portions.
Combine ½ of glaze with chicken wings, Florida orange slices, cilantro and red onion. Toss to coat thoroughly. Marinate in refrigerator for at least 30 minutes or up to 3 hours.
Remove chicken wings from marinade and season with salt and pepper, to taste. Grill over medium-high heat until cooked through. Toss with remaining glaze and lime juice and serve.
