INGREDIENTS

1 cup chopped onion, about 6-3/4 oz.
2 tbsp. minced garlic, about 1/2 oz.
3 tbsp. Extra-virgin olive oil
1-3/4 cups light molasses, about 1 lb. 4-1/4 oz.
1-1/2 cups white wine vinegar
1 cup tomato paste, about 9 oz.
1 tbsp. Tabasco Chipotle Pepper Sauce
2 tsp. kosher salt
1-1/2 tsp. reserved toasted spice rib

INSTRUCTIONS

    Sauté onion and garlic in oil in large saucepan until onions are tender and golden brown.

    Remove from saucepan to food processor container. Add remaining ingredients.
  3. 3
    Purée until smooth. Return mixture to saucepan.
  4. 4
    Cook over medium-high heat about 10 minutes or until slightly thickened; set aside.
