Seitan with Drunken Potatoes

INGREDIENTS

500 g seitan
800 g potatoes
1 dl red wine
2 garlic cloves
3 tbsp. vegan butter
1 tsp. paprika
Salt, to taste

INSTRUCTIONS

    Mince garlic. Prepare paste with butter, garlic, salt and paprika.
  2. 2
    Chop seitan in cubes, rub with paste, leave for 1 hour.
  3. 3
    Boil potatoes with their peel on. Peel the potatoes and chop in to cubes.
  4. 4
    Sauté the seitan on medium heat, add red wine, allow to stew.
  5. 5
    Add potatoes and allow flavours to blend as wine evaporates over low heat.
