Tomato Sauce

INGREDIENTS

1 kg tomatoes
200 g onion
1 dl olive oil
2 red bell peppers
1 chili pepper
Salt, to taste

INSTRUCTIONS

    Clean bell peppers of seeds and membranes. Slice in stripes.

    Peel tomatoes and reduce to purée. Reserve.
  3. 3
    Chop onions roughly.
  4. 4
    Stew onions and bell peppers in olive oil.
  5. 5
    When cooked add tomato purée, add water if needed.
  6. 6
    Season with salt and chili pepper, allow flavours to incorporate.
