INGREDIENTS

800 g broccoli florets, trimmed
Salt, to taste
Pepper, to taste
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. lemon juice
25 g butter
50 g flaked almonds

INSTRUCTIONS

    Cook the broccoli in boiling salted and baking powdered water for 3-5 minutes, until just tender.

    Meanwhile, melt the butter in a small saucepan and cook the almonds over a gentle heat until golden brown. Stir in the lemon juice and season with pepper to taste

    Drain the broccoli well, then toss with the almonds and butter. Serve at once.
