Fried Seitan with Chestnuts

INGREDIENTS

1 kg seitan
4 dl white wine
5 garlic cloves
2 bayleafs
Salt, to taste
Pepper, to taste
3 tbsp. olive oil
1 tsp. paprika
20 roasted chestnuts

INSTRUCTIONS

    Chop seitan in cubes. Peel and crush garlic cloves. Marinate seitan in white wine, garlic cloves, bayleafs, salt and pepper for 1 hour.

    Stew in high heat untill the wine evaporates, then add olive oil and fry in low heat.
  3. 3
    Dissolve the paprika in a little white wine and add to the seitan.
  4. 4
    Peel the chestnuts and add to the seitan.
  5. 5
    When ready you may serve with roasted potatoes decorating with lemon and parsley.
