Garlic Mashed Potato

INGREDIENTS

1 1/2 lb. potatoes, peeled and rough cut
3 garlic cloves, crushed
1/2 tsp. salt
4 tbsp. heavy cream
2 tbsp. butter
1 tbsp. powder milk
Salt, to taste
Pepper, to taste

INSTRUCTIONS

    In a small sauce pan add butter and sautéed garlic for just light but not brown. Add cream and milk and blend all make a fine puree. Drain water from potatoes. Put hot potatoes into a bowl. Add garlic, cream and butter mixed puree. Use potato masher to mash potatoes until well mashed. Use a strong spoon to beat further, adding milk to achieve the consistency you desire. Salt and pepper to taste. Add little malted butter by brush on top for glazing
