Lemon Pepper Grilled Fish Burger

4 sea bass fillets or any firm white fish fillets (about 140g each)
100 g lemon pepper seasoning
4 wholegrain burger rolls (if not wholegrain then use plain)
150 g cos or butter lettuce
1 english cucumber, sliced into long ribbons using a potato peeler
1 large carrot, peeled then sliced into ribbons using a potato peeler
200 ml rice wine vinegar
20 g grated palm sugar or brown sugar
20 ml olive oil
160.0 g of Tartare Sauce for Lemon Pepper Grilled Fish Burger Magnifying_glass

    Heat the Rice Wine Vinegar and Sugar together until sugar is desolved
  2. 2
    Place the Carrots and Cucumber in a bowl and pour the Sugar liquid over them
  3. 3
    Heat your grill and grease with the olive oil. If you do not have a grill, then you can pan-fry the fish in the same amout of olive oil

    Flatten the fish slightly between clingfilm or in a plastic bag. Season with the lemon pepper and grill till cooked through

    Slice open the Burger Rolls and spread Tartare Sauce on the inside of both halves
  6. 6
    Layer as follows: Burger Roll Base, Lettuce, Grilled Fish Fillet, Carrot Ribbons, Cucumber Ribbons, Extra Tartare Suce if you like, then the Burger Roll Top


Burgers make a great meal. Serve with Poleta Fries or Crisp Sweet Potato Fries
